I also bring historical crime stories back to life by working with the Texas Prison Museum in Huntsville, Texas.
During 3 decades of broadcast TV News, I reported from three war zones, The White House, Capitol Hill, The Pentagon, and the scene of earth-shaking news events.
Before journalism, I was an investigator for a Congressional Defense Committee.
Following my service in Congress, I worked on the field organizing staff of Jimmy Carter’s 1976 presidential campaign.
Texas A&M University recognized me in 2001, with College of Architecture’s Outstanding Alumnus Award - an honor bestowed on less than 1% of graduates.
I balance my high-octane professional life with the tranquility offered by horseback riding and companionship with my Great Dane.
