Coaching is currently an unregulated industry, anyone can call themselves a coach! So how do you differentiate between the many coaches available? We list Executive Coaches, Leadership Coaches, Team Coaches and Career Coaches, and Coach Supervisors, and only those who meet our strict verification criteria. Our mission is to raise the standard, credibility and profile of professional coaching, highlighting its’ tangible results. We aim to make coaching as acceptable and accessible as training is for professional development in the business arena. The purpose of the Trusted Coach Directory is to: • Help clients to make a more informed choice when engaging a coach. • Ensure clients can find verified coaches who are suitably qualified, experienced, supervised and insured. • Raise awareness of the coaching profession. • Raise the standard and perception of the coaching industry • Help professional coaches promote themselves and grow their business. • Promote the tangible benefits of professional coaching • Share industry knowledge with clients and coaches Being a ‘Trusted Coach’ demonstrates that coaches have: • Membership of a professional coaching body (minimum membership levels are on the website) • At least 100 hours formal coaching experience post qualification • Relevant coaching qualifications • Regular coach supervision with a certified supervisor • Agreed to adhere to the AC/ICF/EMCC/IAPC&M/APECS code of ethics • Professional Indemnity Insurance • Been reference checked • Helped clients to get great results If you would like to discuss whether, as a coach you are eligible to register, please get in touch.
