It was founded in 2021 with the overarching aim to contribute to the global shift towards the Safe System within road transportation. 𝑇𝑟𝑎𝑓𝑓𝑖𝑐 𝑆𝑎𝑓𝑒𝑡𝑦 𝑅𝑒𝑠𝑒𝑎𝑟𝑐ℎ publishes reports from high-quality research in engineering, psychology, sociology, economics, medicine, political sciences, and other fields relevant for explaining and addressing road traffic casualties. Much emphasis is placed on the practical relevance of the addressed research question and the findings.
