The first edition of the TU/e Contest was organized by TU Eindhoven in 2015, in close collaboration with SOAPBOX B.V. and the business world. The TU/e Contest is a technical innovation competition developed for bachelor and master students studying at the TU/e. One of the TU/e’s important spear points is that students come into contact with the business world during their studies.
This lies at the core of the TU/e Contest: offering students opportunities to present their technically innovative ideas to important technical players, and together actually putting these ideas into practice. The TU/e Contest is therefore not simply a competition of ideas, but a contest which actually leads to new start-ups. Success is achieved by co-creation between student and company. This is a unique opportunity for partner companies to work on potential start-ups with technical top-talent in the Netherlands.
