Turaco Treetops opened its doors in 2019 and has since been well-known for its
stunning location, proximity to the chimpanzee trekking, high level of service,
comfort, delicious meals, and the design concept that honors nature and presents
Uganda with a modern twist.
Guests enjoy their stay in one of the luxury cottages or standard rooms (16 in total)
where they are fully immersed in nature, and can privately enjoy the sounds and
scenery of the rain forest. The main lodge features a bar and restaurant, several
lounge areas, a fireplace and kids’ playroom. The lodge also features a swimming
pool and an outdoor play area. While staying at Turaco Treetops our guests can
either chill and relax or get active during a chimpanzee trekking, guided nature
walk or mountain bike tour.
Turaco Treetops actively contributes to forest restoration and conservation in the nearby area through the affiliated Chris Roberts Forest Foundation.
