When we started out back in 1977 (over 40 years ago), our founding guide, Eddie Frank was just out looking for adventure. So he ran a classified ad in the LA Times, picked up a dozen folks, then head off in a Landrover across Africa.
Those were the days where you didn't have to spell the word A-D-V-E-N-T-U-R-E.
Everyone knew it.
Nowadays it’s become a cliché. So every day we work our butts off re-inventing the word.
