We are a Horizon Europe-funded project supported by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions programme. We are dedicated to transforming the wind energy sector through digital innovation.
Wind and solar will be the key energy sources to achieve net zero emissions by 2050. Digitalisation is the next big step in wind energy, reducing costs & risks while improving performance & efficiency.
💡 What is TWEED aim?
✅ Train the next generation of researchers in wind energy digitalisation through an international doctoral network.
✅ Provide cutting-edge research training, including innovation management & industry placements.
✅ Develop a virtual wind energy data science hub to support a collaborative research environment and establish the new discipline of wind energy data science.
🔹 Co-funded by the European Union, TWEED unites leading institutions such as DTU, NTNU, TU-DELFT, TUM, ANNEA, NTUA, and OST to drive a smarter, more sustainable wind energy sector.
