TxMiller Foundation is an initiative of GenDx co-founders Erik Rozemuller and Wietse Mulder. The foundation will be funded by using part of the proceeds of the sale of GenDx in October 2022 and donations from other individuals and private organizations.
Our mission is: To improve the quality of life and survival of transplant patients.
Our support will be restricted to the field of stem cell and solid organ transplantation. We will support activities that will advance this field ultimately leading to a better outcome of transplantation. We anticipate to offer various (financial) support, ranging from providing travel grants to participate in international meetings like ASHI and EFI, supporting education and training activities, facilitating donor recruitment activities and to offer financial assistance to R&D projects.
The foundation is currently in the process of finalizing the formalities to be established. We expect to be up and running in a couple of months.
