Typeji Foundry

Typeji is a New York-based independent type foundry and type design practice of TienMin Liao. After four years of journey on FutureFonts, the foundry was officially established in 2024. The foundry is dedicated to creating and publishing versatile Latin-script typefaces, ranging from modern high-contrast sans to display fonts with unique personalities. In addition, Typeji also specializes in multiscript lettering. Each Latin font in the library is thoughtfully paired with a corresponding Kanji/Hanzi prototype, designed to complement the Latin typefaces and showcase a cohesive look across multiple languages.
