UCL Alternative Protein Project

We are a passionate group of UCL students with the initiative of raising awareness abound the transformative potential of alternative proteins. Our mission is to build a vibrant community of individuals, including students, academics, and professionals, who share our excitement for reshaping our food system. We firmly believe that alternative proteins hold the key to a future where our health is prioritized, our environment is preserved, and animal suffering is reduced. In collaboration with the Good Food Institute, we envision a world where alternative proteins are no longer seen as an alternative, but rather as a mainstream choice. With a focus on interdisciplinary collaboration, we strive to connect students and staff from various departments, stimulating groundbreaking research in the alternative protein space.
