Udruga Penkala / Penkala Association

Penkala je neprofitna udruga koja okuplja i spaja mlade hrvatske studente i istraživače i tehnologe, iz industrije i akademije, iz Hrvatske i inozemstva. Penkala organizira redovita druženja i predavanja hrvatskih znanstvenika, pokrenula je i blog te podcast u kojem se promoviraju mladih hrvatski znanstvenici, njihova istraživanja, ali i životni putevi. Kruna svega je Mutimir dvodnevno okupljanje mladih hrvatskih istraživača iz Hrvatske i inozemstva. Ideja je omogućiti povezivanje ljudi iz raznih grana, te raznih razina iskustava kako bi se ostvarila nova poznanstva, pokrenule suradnje, ideje za projekte i prilike. Kroz raznolikost pozadina i trenutnih zaposlenja polaznika nadamo se poboljšati pregled što se sve radi i može u Hrvatskoj te što naši ljudi rade u inozemstvu. Želimo poboljšati komunikaciju i prenošenje znanja i iskustava među generacijama, dati bolji pregled mogućnosti i potaknuti mlađe na ostanak u znanosti. -- Penkala is a non-profit association that connects young Croatian students, researchers, and technologists from industry and academia, both from Croatia and abroad. Penkala organizes regular gatherings and lectures, and has also launched a blog and podcast that promote young Croatian scientists, their research, and their life paths. The highlight is Mutimir, a two-day gathering of young Croatian researchers, both from Croatia and abroad. The idea is to enable networking among people from different fields and levels of experience, fostering new connections, collaborations, project ideas, and opportunities. By embracing the diversity of participants' backgrounds and current employment, we hope to enhance the understanding of ongoing and potential initiatives in Croatia, as well as the achievements of our people abroad. We aim to improve communication and the transfer of knowledge and experiences across generations, providing a better overview of opportunities and encouraging them to pursue careers in science.
