The Faculty of Sciences is one of the 11 faculties at Ghent University and one of the four original faculties established in 1817. Home to eight major disciplines—Mathematics, Computer Science, Chemistry, Physics & Astronomy, Biotechnology & Biochemistry, Biology, Geology, and Geography—the faculty offers a wide range of educational programs and conducts cutting-edge research across these fields.
