UGSTEMPeers

What began as an idea to provide science writing internships to undergrads, today sees light as the SciXplore blog – ideated, executed and managed entirely by undergrad students, for fellow undergrads. Converting the challenge of a lockdown imposed by Covid-19 into an opportunity, 12 bright, young minds and their teacher from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai, decided to come together to start UG STEMPeers, a junior STEMPeersTM. The ‘Boffin Bloggers’, as they call themselves, started SciXplore – a blog to voice their thoughts, and those of their peers. As they explore the myriad mysteries of nature through a scientific lens, the Boffin Bloggers have pledged an oath to academic integrity, to developing scientific temper and making science accessible to all.
