Born from the original company Specific Oil Solutions, which was founded in 2012, Ultra Compact Limited was launched January 2020. The first and without doubt, most important product developed under the Ultra Compact brand to date being the Ultra Compact fuel tank valve, which is protected by International Design Copyright. This unit delivers “safe isolation” by providing isolation to all domestic and light commercial bottom outlet storage tanks as the very first fitting. To complement the Copyrighted valve our business also offers a comprehensive range of fuel tank valve and filter options. This includes three ranges of tank filters which all utilise one common range of plated steel manifold fittings, insomuch as the “Budget”, “Standard” and “Premium” filter ranges. Thus the three filters styles can be mixed and matched to suit any appliance or application. The smallest tank filters in the range are as competitively priced as many mass produced Chinese units, but assembled and tested right here at our base in central England. At the opposite end of the filter spectrum, the largest of our units has a 3/4” BSP outlet, a rating of ten micron and boasts a phenomenal 1090cm2 of internal surface area from its “Spin-on” Ultimate cartridge. In addition to the fuel tank filters, we also offer a range of four in-line wall-mounted, fully reversible units. Again, much like the tank filters, our in-line filters cover domestic, light commercial and small industrial installations right up to 3/4” BSP pipelines. All our products are tested in real time and in real conditions on the Scottish island of Shetland, possibly the harshest conditions available within the U.K. The ethos of the business is one of continuous improvement in search of perfection. Therefore our entire range of products is under constant scrutiny and development.
