Umeed (Urdu: امید, meaning "hope") is a youth-led non-profit organization founded in the summer of 2021 by a group of motivated high school students from Delhi, India. The organization's mission is to develop a sense of responsibility and civic engagement in young people, and to empower them to give back to their communities. Umeed NGO believes that all young people have the potential to make a difference, and that by working together, they can create a more just and equitable world. We are dedicated to providing education and empowerment to underprivileged children in Delhi. We believe that, with our efforts we can bridge the gap between education and opportunity, by offering children from all backgrounds the chance to learn, grow, and achieve their full potential. Through this page, we aim to share our latest news, events, and success stories with our community of supporters, partners, and followers.
