Umuri Foundation is a Rwandan Non - profit organization with Permanent Legal Personality N° 744/RGB/NGO/LP/04/2021 founded by a Rwandan football legend Jimmy Mulisa who played for Rwanda National team and different Clubs in Rwanda, Europe and Asia. Jimmy who grew up as a refugee, orphan and raised by a single mother with 5 siblings started Umuri Foundation to leverage what he saw as football’s unique potential to create positive social change for youth especially those from poor families and embarked on building communities at home through community sports. Umuri Foundation promotes and advocates for social change and economic opportunities for vulnerable groups especially street children and their families through football.
