UNC Chapel Hill Arab Student Organization

The UNC Chapel Hill Arab Student Organization was founded in 2019 in order to foster a cohesive Arab network on campus and in the surrounding community. Our organization has three primary objectives we strive to achieve: Firstly, UNC ASO aims to build and maintain an Arab community that is inclusive of all within the pan-arab world. We want to build a space that does not generalize the Arab experience, but rather celebrates the different practices within our heritage that adds to the richness of the Arab identity. Secondly, we aim to create connections with local and international leaders, organizations, and alumni to strengthen our community outside campus limits. Thirdly, ASO aims to connect our members with outside career paths, promoting academic and employment opportunities to help ensure their success after graduation and beyond.
