Uncurbed

Uncurbed recognizes that accessibility means something different to everyone, and has widespread applications and effects, both online and offline, with no completion date. Due to the complex relationships between personal and environmental factors, a process that identifies and engages key stakeholders early and meaningfully throughout the design of initiatives is essential, and is referred to as co-design. Uncurbed serves as a key stakeholder in the everyday workflow of design by providing professional services, such as research, program development, education, and expertise – rooted in the humanistic and holistic views of the occupational therapy profession. Additionally, Uncurbed can assist in the creation of and bridge between the diverse perspectives of other key stakeholders, including people who understand disability from lived experiences, health service providers, health and human service agencies, professional associations, national and local legislators, and communities, among others. The mission of Uncurbed is to redefine what accessibility means to every person and business using a collaborative, creative, and human-centered approach that creates uncurbed access to human experiences.
