Union Swiss (Pty) Ltd Union Swiss researches, develops and manufactures skincare products under the Bio‑Oil®, Bi‑Oil® and Bioil® brands. The company was started in 1954 to import Swiss skincare products into the Union of South Africa. It later began researching and developing its own skincare products and in 2000, under new ownership, was expanded from a local skincare company to a multinational organisation, which today has a presence worldwide. Union Swiss focuses exclusively on research, development and manufacture, with the distribution and selling of its products licensed to a leading local skincare company in each country.
