„Unitop-Optima” S.A. is the largest producer of sesame snaps in Europe. The factory was established in April 1945. We proudly produce sesame snaps, halva as well as hard and stuffed caramels. In our portfolio you can also find cream fudges and wafers. All sweets are made according to traditional recipes and methods with the utmost care for the highest quality and taste. That is why our products are popular all over the world: in Western, Central and Eastern Europe, North America (Canada and the USA), Australia and Asia. Our history The factory was established in April 1945. At that time, on the initiative of the engineers Jozef Serwaczak and Jan Tarasiewicz, the „Optima” Industrial Plant was opened in the building of the former textile factory. It started its activity from the production of honey. Joint-venture with Agros Holding (export representative for Polish confectionery producers) in December 1990 was a milestone in the development of the company. This project was aimed primarily at starting sales on foreign markets and expanding sales on the domestic market. The activities carried out at that time contributed to the rapid development of the production of sesame products (halva and sesame snaps) and made „Unitop-Optima” the largest Polish exporter of halva and sesame snaps. In January 2018, „Unitop-Optima” and Agros TC became part of the Bounty Brands group. Bounty Brands is a diversified consumer brands business with a portfolio of leading FMCG brands that are available in over 40 countries globally. On 5th of July 2018 Agros TC changed its name to Unitop Sp. z o.o.
