University of Alberta Business Finance Association

Founded in 1985 by a group of ambitious students at the University of Alberta School of Business, the Investors Club began as a student-led initiative to promote awareness and understanding of capital markets. Over time, it became the largest student business organization on campus. In 2010, the club expanded its focus beyond capital markets and was rebranded as the Business Finance Association (BFA). Today, BFA is dedicated to educating students on diverse career paths in finance, building connections between students and industry professionals, and supporting the development of well-rounded, knowledgeable finance professionals within the Alberta School of Business.
