UrbaDam is a self-inflating, sandless sandbag to control your damage from flooding, especially in urban areas.
The bag contains biodegradable superabsorbent polymer inside a hydrophilic, non-woven cover which absorbs water upto 90% capacity in less than 3 minutes. Once the water is absorbed it is suspended in the bag and acts just like a traditional sandbag to restrict water.
UrbaDam is clean, compact and lightweight so they can be stored anywhere close to flash flooding prone areas or accidental water damage. UrbaDam empowers people to defend themselves and react immediately to flooding which can potentially help avoid a disaster altogether.
