USYD BIOMOD Team

BIOMOD (Biomolecular Design Competition) is an esteemed international contest organized by the Wyss Institute at Harvard University. The competition encourages university student teams to design and build innovative biomolecular structures and systems, pushing the boundaries of bioengineering and synthetic biology. In previous year’s projects, this competition included DNA nanotechnology, protein engineering, biosensors, and synthetic biology applications. Our team, from the University of Sydney, consists of five enthusiastic and creative students from different backgrounds. The BIOMOD Design Competition offers a unique platform for us to showcase our innovation and talent, promoting global scientific exchange and collaboration.
