UTNY is a semester-long, internship-first, experiential learning program in New York City that provides registered UT Austin students the opportunity to live, work and learn in one of the most dynamic cities in the world. Students receive tailored support as they pursue internships relevant to their majors, and get deep exposure to the arts, industries, and culture of New York.
Students study with UTNY faculty—industry professionals, sector experts, and academic scholars—in courses tailored to the New York urban environment. They are exposed to the arts, businesses, and culture of the city, and are provided opportunities to network with New York tri-state alumni and industry leaders. The city becomes the classroom as students visit museums, shuffle their shoes on Broadway, and get behind-the-scenes tours of ad agencies, media houses, financial institutions, and many more exciting spots.

Students majoring in marketing, management, finance, acting, theater, studio art, art history, economics, government, global business, journalism, radio-television-film, advertising, public relations, corporate communication, have all come to UTNY to jumpstart their careers and build connections.
