Mona Ageing and Wellness Centre is the premier institution in the Caribbean for research, teaching, policy influence and outreach in the field of ageing. Established at the Mona Campus of The University of the West Indies in 2005, the Centre: • conducts research on a wide range of health and social issues to inform policy and practice • offers degree and non-degree training programmes in gerontology and geriatrics • participates in outreach programmes in partnership with stakeholders at the community and national levels
