University of Wolverhampton Racing is an academic led, student run racing team, applying the knowledge of Engineering students from the University of Wolverhampton. We compete against professional racing teams to give our students the best opportunities to prepare for working in professional motorsport after they've graduated. The team competes in: The Praga Cup www.pragacup.com AR Morgan Challenge www.morganchallenge.co.uk IMechE Formula Student www.imeche.org/events/formula-student The School of Engineering is based at the Telford Innovation Campus, barely a mile from the Southwater Shopping Centre and we offer different under- and post-graduate degrees to suit a variety of industries: • Aerospace Engineering • Automotive Engineering • Chemical Engineering • Electronic and Telecommunications Engineering • Mechanical Engineering • Mechatronics Engineering • Motorsport Engineering The School of Engineering and the University of Wolverhampton have been awarded Silver status in the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF), and the Destination of Leavers from Higher Education (DHLE) survey showed that 96% of our graduates are in full-time employment or continuing their education within six months of graduating. 77% of University of Wolverhampton graduates are employed in the West Midlands, making a massive contribution to our local economy.
