The Department of Informatics at the University of Zurich (Institut für Informatik, IfI) conducts extensive and excellent research across various domains, encompassing Information Systems (Wirtschaftsinformatik), Software Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and People-oriented Computing.
With 20 professors, 30 post-doctoral researchers, and more than 100 PhD students, the IfI is the competence center for Informatics at the University of Zurich.
