Vacino Biotech company was founded in July, 2020 focusing on the product development of vaccine and nucleic acid drug. In 2021, Vacino Biotech was admitted to build up the research center in National Biotechnology Research Park. The universal flu vaccine development project is the first project of Vacino Biotech. Based on Vacino's novel Antigen Discovery technology, a universal COVID vaccine is being developed and scheduled release in 2023. An another project is the development of miRNA nucleic acid drug for treating the Alzheimer's disease. With the advanced nucleic acid modification technology R-MOD, the stability and efficacy of RNA drug is largely improved. An accompanying precision diagnostic is also developed based on the quantitation of miRNA for monitoring the Alzheimer's disease progression.
