HIMSS Virginia Chapter

The Virginia Chapter of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (VA HIMSS) provides statewide leadership for the advancement and management of healthcare information and technology. Our affiliation with national HIMSS allows us to participate in directing and shaping the healthcare industry, encouraging emerging technology and promoting public policies that will improve healthcare delivery. At the local level we are committed to providing educational and networking opportunities for our members. Our goals focus on supporting the mission, vision, and values of HIMSS. As a state-level organization we strive to carry out their mission at the local level and to serve as a conduit of information to and from the national organization.
