At Herdade Vale da Rosa we live with passion. Passion for the Alentejo. Passion for agriculture. Passion for grapes. It was this passion that motivated the Silvestre Ferreira family to launch the business, and it is this passion that continues to inspire António Silvestre Ferreira 40 years on. As a child, he loved to play in a small garden on the estate that was called Vale da Rosa. In honour of that special place so full of cherished memories, he named his land and his product brand after it. We at Herdade Vale da Rosa believe in Portugal and believe we can contribute to the country’s success. We promote employment in the region and the Portuguese brand abroad, helping to build a positive image of a productive, efficient country capable of conducting business with a high level of quality on an international scale. With the birth of yet another generation, the Vale da Rosa table grape brand hopes to follow in the footsteps of previous generations and contribute towards Portugal’s success in the world.
