The Vancouver Police Foundation was created 46 years ago with a clear purpose: to fund crime prevention programs and public safety initiatives that are above and beyond the annual operating budget of the Vancouver Police Department.
Since then, thanks to the support of the citizens and businesses of Vancouver, the Foundation has granted over $10 million towards more than 200+ innovative programs – initiatives that have helped the VPD save lives and prevent crime.
