Ven Poultry B.V is a leading trading partner with more than 65 years’ expertise in the import and export of frozen poultry products for the meat processing industry, retail and wholesale worldwide. Ven Poultry offers a wide range of specialised frozen poultry products. Our in-house cold store enables us to adequately meet our customers’ demands and deliver worldwide, from Europe to Africa and Asia. Therefore, we are able to offer partial or mixed loads if the customer so requires. We work with a recognised certified GFSI (IFS) quality system and therefore subject our cold stores, packaging, products and transport fleets to the highest standards. Our cold store is hyper modern, is fully IFS certified and has the capacity to store 6,000 pallets. The entire cold store is monitored 24/7 via an advanced computer system. This includes temperature regulation and registration, traceability and canalisation. We set the highest requirements for our suppliers; all suppliers have to be at least GFSI certified. Our quality service visits our suppliers and monitors certification on a regular basis. We also have poultry certification NL-5664 EEC and are subject to daily export inspections to this end pursuant to the regulations of the Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA). We have been working with reliable logistics partners that are specialised in the transport of chilled and frozen products for years. In addition to this, we take care of the required veterinary certificates, export declarations and customs & excise formality handling. The major international ports of Rotterdam and Antwerp are just a stone’s throw away from us.
