Despite this, many remain in use simply because there are so few viable alternatives. Our Solution At Ventera Bio, we harness the power of venoms. These naturally evolved substances exhibit exceptional molecular precision, enabling highly selective targeting of pests. Venom-derived peptides are biodegradable, do not accumulate in soil or water, and do not enter the food chain. Their structural complexity also supports multimodal action, significantly reducing the likelihood of resistance development. What We Do We fractionate venoms and rigorously screen them to identify bioactive peptides with the potential to be developed into next-generation bioinsecticides.
