With a degree in Sociology of Development from the Univercidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC) in Brazil in 1996, Mr. Verissimo P. NANCASSA, President of Grupo VEPANA SASU, is also specialized in Public Finance and Financial Structuring at the Ecole Nationale du Trésor (ENT) in Paris since 2000. With more than seven years of experience in Public Administration, Mr. Nancassa entered the private sector since 2002, starting with the creation of his first company, AFRIINVEST SA in Bissau, in the field of investment promotion, financial arrangement and development of mining projects. During his experience in Public Administration, Mr. Nancassa was a researcher at the National Research Institute (INEP) from 1996 to 1999. He also had to be Senior Technical Advisor at the Ministry of Economy and Finance for four years. . We are a pan-African company specializing in the international provision of services, investments, consulting and financial structuring. Today Grupo Vepana is a subsidiary of WEST AFRICAN INVESTMENT HOLDING SA Which owns major mining projects in Africa: A phosphate deposit with reserves estimated at 98 million tons in the south of Senegal, in the Kolda region; A lithium project in Kedougou; A Zircon project in southern Senegal; A basalt deposit in Guinea Bissau etc.
