Verimployee is an “Accountability-Mechanism” that records promises employees and employers make to each other during recruitment process and follows up to see if those promises were honoured. This information is available on need to know basis to future employers only with explicit consent of the employee.
Verimployee replicates the reputation mechanism that has worked effectively to create social accountability for thousands of years and still does in smaller communities (eg. Villages). Individuals are kept accountable by their fear of others in the community finding out about them not keeping their commitments and getting a reputation for being unreliable therefore not trustworthy.
