Vickstrom Engineering Services, Inc. (VES) was founded in January 2013. The principal of the firm, Daniel M. Vickstrom, P.E, has over 41 years of experience in the civil engineering consulting field, with over 24 years of local experience in the Tampa Bay area. His prior Tampa Bay area experiences include 6 years directing a water resources group for a large international consulting firm, and 15 years as the principal for a civil engineering consulting office in Tampa. VES clients include corporations, non-profit organizations, schools, developers, and local governments. Projects include a wide range of work from due diligence studies, to feasibility studies to construction plan preparation for site developments; permitting for stormwater, water and wastewater systems; and assistance with permit compliance issues. VES has worked with all local permitting agencies including the Cities of Tampa, Saint Petersburg, Clearwater, Dunedin, and Largo; Hillsborough, Pinellas and Manatee Counties; as well as the state permitting agencies of SWFWMD, SFWMD, and the FDEP. With this experience, VES is familiar with the permitting staff of all of these agencies and their unique permitting requirements. VES can efficiently obtain permits in a timely manner to keep projects on schedule. VES’s team of engineer’s, designers, and planners can provide a variety of civil engineering design and permitting services in a cost effective and efficient manner. In addition, with our extensive network of related professionals, VES has the ability to create teams to include surveyors, geotechnical engineers, traffic engineers, environmental scientists, architects, and landscape architects to successfully complete many different types of projects.
