The Video Game Symphony is an exciting new orchestra and 501(c)(3) charitable organization that is enriching the artistic landscape of Northeastern Ohio and inspiring a new generation of musicians. This groundbreaking ensemble is one of the only orchestras in the world dedicated exclusively to the artform of video game music. The Video Game Symphony aspires not only to bring this underappreciated genre of music to life in the concert hall, but to reach out and connect with members of the community–hosting engaging concerts and special events, collaborating with local education programs, and drawing new audiences into the rich and expressive realm of classical music.
Founded in June 2023 by Andrew Keller and Jaclyn Kurtz, two graduates of Kent State University, the Video Game Symphony has given electrifying performances at the Maltz Performing Arts Center, Akron Civic Theatre, Colossalcon, Cleveland Gaming Classic, Cleveland Public Library, Akron-Summit County Public Library, Kent State University, Ashtabula Middle School, and more. Bringing timeless video game soundtracks to life with stunning symphonic colors and epic orchestral landscapes, the Video Game Symphony is an experience not to be missed!
