Our mission is to make Gloucestershire’s communities more sustainable and resilient.
Our aims are:
• To provide local, voluntary opportunities for people to engage in community based environmental activities
• To educate and encourage the public, businesses and local authorities to become more sustainable
We focus our projects towards meeting the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals and, in particular:
• SDG 3 Good Health and Well-being
• SDG 11 Sustainable Cities and Communities
• SDG 12 Responsible Consumption
• SDG 13 Climate Action
We "Think Globally but Act Locally". We aim to give everyone a greater understanding of sustainability issues to help change attitudes and behaviour regarding the environment and how we live. As such, Vision 21 is as much a social organisation as it is an environmental one and, our inclusive approach ensures people on low incomes and BAME are not forgotten or left behind.
