About VitroZymes
At VitroZymes, we are committed to leveraging the power of enzymes to address one of today’s most urgent environmental challenges: PFAS pollution. By developing cutting-edge enzyme-based technologies, we aim to provide water treatment facilities with a sustainable and efficient solution to break down these persistent and harmful chemicals. Our journey started in 2023 during the iGEM competition, where we over the course of nine months developed and worked on our idea, recognizing its immense potential to make a difference. Building on this foundation, we are now dedicated to transforming our vision into reality. Who are we? We are a team of five passionate master’s students from SDU, bringing together expertise in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Medicinal Chemistry. With a shared passion for sustainability and science, we aim to make a real impact in the fight against PFAS pollution. At VitroZymes, we believe in turning science into actionable solutions, making a real impact on the environment and paving the way for a cleaner, healthier future.
