"VIX Protection arose from personal necessity. I grew up skiing and spent the greater portion of my life ski racing but after I nearly lost my life in a ski laceration accident on Feb 3rd of 2019, I didn’t see how I could overcome my fear and ever get back on skis. Anytime I so much as looked at my skis, I would get shivers up my spine.
VIX started as my personal investigation into what happened to me, and how it could be prevented from ever happening again. I had sustained two lacerations to date, and it was very clear to me that a third could be my last"
