VM-Med is a private medical services provider based in Montreal Canada. VM-Med’s mission is to provide patients with timely, efficient and dignified access to a broad range of expertise and advanced health care services. With a focus on medical imaging, breast cancer prevention, detection and treatment, VM Medical was the first Canadian medical facility to introduce Digital Mammography with Computer Assisted Detection, 3D4D breast ultrasound, and breast-dedicated MRI. VM Medical is the only center in Quebec with a membership in the National Consortium of Breast Center (NCBC) and the only center in Canada with a seat on the board of the NCBC. VM Medical Center is also accredited for mammography by the Canadian Association of Radiologist (CAR) and is the only MRI center in Canada accredited by the American College of Radiology. VM Medical is committed to employing a qualified team of multidisciplinary health professionals including: surgeons – including general, plastic and oncologist – GPs, gynecologists, plastic surgeons, radiologists, and internists who are aided by a dedicated support team. This team provides comprehensive, highly effective care using the latest technology available – including Full Field Digital Mammography with Computer Aided Detection (CAD), 3D-4D ultrasound, stereotactic vacuum biopsy, MRI, CT, PET/CT, virtual colonoscopy, and nuclear medicine. In addition, VM Medical offers a variety of preventative and wellness services through its Integrated Health and Wellness Center as well as on-site psychological, radiotherapy, and cancer recovery services through its Oncology Center.
