Volumetryx provides mobile platform business solutions for Prosthetic Technicians to bring prosthesis to the 30 million amputees in the world without prosthetics. The system consists of a Mobile 3D Scanning system that feeds amputee body dimensions to a web server that allows teams to design prosthetics remotely and 3D print and assemble the prosthetic locally. To date, there does not exist an inclusive commercially available system that addresses the specific needs of providing prosthesis to patients in developing countries, including field based customer needs evaluation, remote pipelines for computer automated design and modeling, and local fabrication capabilities.
