VONNE is the regional support body for the North East Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector.
We represent more than 1,400 member charities, voluntary organisations, community groups, networks and social enterprises from across the region, with further reach through our many networks.
We do this by:
- Representing the sector within regional and national partnerships and networks.
- Providing a range of relevant information and opportunities to the sector.
- Brokering effective engagement and collaboration within the sector and between the sector and stakeholders.
- Supporting research and incubating and supporting new projects and initiatives.
We also run VONNE Jobs, a sector specialist recruitment site which advertises jobs and trustee vacancies.
VONNE's vision is that charities, social enterprises and voluntary and community groups make a distinct and sustained contribution to the economic and social development of North East England.
