The VSoA is the first non-profit, tuition-free online architectural institution in Myanmar, devoted to providing access to a better architecture education in the throes of the government universities closure under Covid-19 and the countrywide political-humanitarian turmoils.
The Virtual School of Architecture maintains its focus on assisting undergraduates, recent graduates, and high school graduates in overcoming financial, geopolitical, social, and personal barriers to architectural education. Since its establishment, VSoA has gained traction in constructing a comprehensive gateway to serve individuals whose aptitude and creativity
are affected by the present conditions, and we aspire to develop a learning platform for future architects and leaders who will aid in the bottom-up reconstruction of the nation. Since its inception, VSoA has assisted over 200 architectural students and professionals via seminars, workshops, national and international design competitions, and an online mini-symposium.
