Vietnam Traders Arbitration Centre (VTA)

Vietnam Traders Arbitration Centre (VTA) is an agency settling commercial disputes in accordance with the Law on Commercial Arbitration in Vietnam. VTA was established due to request of business practice and expectation of the Vietnamese Entrepreneur Community with regard to an institution to settle trade disputes as prescribed by the law with the understanding on culture, business environment, occupational ethics and legal standards. As an independent organization, not for profit purpose; VTA’s dispute resolution activities are ensured by transparent and confidential litigation procedures, meeting maximum the parties’ agreement freedom, continually being improved on the basis of practical requirements and dispute resolution trend of arbitration centers in the world. VTA focuses on developing arbitrators who are experts, understand the law and have the spirit of creating legal standards; knowledge of business environment and reality of law practice; to have thinking, problem-solving methods under the new trend. VTA arbitrators operate independently; respect the objective truth; dignify the professional ethics & rules, and comply with the law. VTA’s judgment is final, not only enforceable in Vietnam but also recognized and enforced in more than 150 countries and territories as members of the New York Convention 1958 on the recognition and enforcement of foreign arbitrator’s judgment.
