VULK is the culmination of more than 20 years’ polished concrete experience. Its founder David Shaughnessy is a recognised authority in the polished concrete industry, with a Bachelor of Technology specialising in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering. VULK was born out of hands-on knowledge gained from years of working on large-scale concrete flooring projects for clients such as Orora, Target, AutoBarn, DPTI and Lend Lease. David’s vision was to provide tried and tested materials, tools and systems to help flooring contractors get the right result every time. To this day, the team at VULK continue to test and develop the newest and best products and techniques through their sister company Arrunga.
