Warwick ASOIU Dual Diploma Program

The MSc Dual Degree Programme in Renewable Energy, offered by Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) in collaboration with WMG at the Universtiy of Warwick is designed to empower candidates with the advanced knowledge and skills necessary to excel in this rapidly evolving sector. Our world-class faculty and industry professionals work together to create a sustainable learning environment that nurtures innovation and prepares national professionals for the challenges and opportunities in renewable energy and its technologies. Academic instruction is delivered through face-to-face sessions by experts from both ASOIU and WMG at the Univeristy of Warwick. The curriculum, developed collaboratively with foreign academics and industry professionals, includes post-module assessments, group projects, and other core components reflective of the UK educational model. The programme includes a one-month UK Summer Session, during which students will participate in technical field trips. These excursions offer the chance to visit prominent renewable energy companies and technical facilities including solar farms and wind turbine operation zones in the United Kingdom while receiving expert academic and professional guidance to enhance their engineering expertise. Key modules such as “Energy Systems Integration” and “UK Renewable Energy Sector” are conducted in the UK during the Summer Session, offering immersive, real-world learning experiences. Admission Requirements: A minimum IELTS score of 6.5 (with no component below 6.0) A video application (maximum 2 minutes) that effectively demonstrates your motivation for applying, along with your unique personality, communication skills, and creativity A minimum passing grade of 40 in the "State Examination Center Master's Exam" (Dövlət İmtahan Mərkəzi) ASOIU's collaboration with WMG at the Univeristy of Warwick, to provide a robust educational framework that supports the Azerbaijan’s energy transition initiatives.
