As much as we all love theory, knowing the 4P's and 8C's by heart won't get you an internship. In marketing, experience is perhaps more important than in any other industry. So if you want a career in anything marketing-related, you need something more than just theory. GDMS teaches Warwick students, step by step, everything about marketing. From building personas to social media, and from marketing automation to schema markups, we help students at all levels reach their learning goals. And let's not forget about graphic design. Beyond basic colour psychology and the rule of thirds, most students are never encouraged to learn this beautiful field. By looking at some posters around campus, quite frankly, everyone can tell. Even if you're not sure you're into graphic design, you need to know how to analyze design. As a marketer, a basic understanding will help you tons in ads and interwebs design and whatnot.
