About Wasatch Front Regional Council
The Wasatch Front Regional Council (WFRC) is the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for the majority of Utah’s Wasatch Front. WFRC provides a forum for public, private, and community stakeholders to plan for transportation, land use, and economic opportunity, embodied in the Wasatch Choice Vision and Utah’s Unified Transportation Plan. As one of the fastest-growing regions in the United States, how we grow today will shape the quality of life for generations to come. The Wasatch Choice Vision is a shared, long-term regional plan for growth and development. It includes a map and key strategies for enhancing quality of life as Utah grows.
