wayOUT empowers LGBTQ+ youth to feel safe being who they really are. wayOUT is a fully volunteer organization that finds, vets and fundraises for LGBTQ+ youth programs across the country.
Through a formal grant selection process which includes reviewing hundreds of applications a year, wayOUT has created a formula that allows us to serve as advocates and ambassadors for these organizations and streamline the process for your philanthropic endeavors.
With 4 chapters and a a completely volunteer coalition of 50+ chapter members, wayOUT creates fundraising channels to fulfill the grants awarded to each chapter's grant recipient in a given year or season. Through a one-to-one model of local chapters and partner organization, we are able to better understand, serve, and passionately advocate for these organizations while empowering them to best manage their own needs and services. Being completely volunteer led, allows wayOUT to give nearly 100% of donations directly to our annual grant recipients.
To date, wayOUT has raise over $1,000,000 for twenty-two organizations across the U.S.
